This is kind of a frilly extra thing. It’s helpful to be familiar for it, because it’s possible that at the end of a problem they might ask you a conceptual question related to this stuff.
You’ll have to know how to do complex integration to be able to solve these problems, so if you’re not familiar with that stuff, I’d advise just skipping this stuff if you’re short on time.
Read Section 5.5 from Likarev’s notes. I’m not a big fan of these lecture notes, but this is the best I can find tbh5.
